Re: HOME PARK CONSULTATION
Pity they're not going to knock down that eyesore of a toilet block at the same time as putting the school in there.

I believe Woolwich is not a proper bishop. He's only an assistant bishop ("Bishop suffragan") under the bishop of Southwark

Re: second pedestrian light by Sydenham station
If pedestrians ONLY crossed at the new crossings then I could happily - when I'm driving - live with that. It is the random crossing at any point that is so dangerous and upsetting for road users of all sorts. Obviously it works when traffic is backed up, but people seem to think they have the right...

Checkmate, you are sure to be right!
Sydenham is not a place for nervous drivers with all these pedestrians trying to be run over.

Re: second pedestrian light by Sydenham station
Whenever I drive through Sydenham (not often) I am amazed at the way pedestrians stroll into the road without looking even if they aren't on their phones or ipod-ed up.

Re: Sorting out the bins at Crystal Palace Park
dickp,
I am not clear what you are saying - your last sentence reads as if you think it's the people's fault, not Bromley - is that what you think?
Your photos seem to show that LBB needs to empty the bins on a Sunday night (in summer at least).

well, neither are the Met Police, but they are on your list - you're not being logical or consistent hereMike - schools are not businesses. Well, not yet

Which side of the station are you discussing here?
Is it the kangley Bridge Road side that I know or the other side (from Worsley bridge road)?
I am at a loss to understand where you are talking about!

Re: Say No To T£sco
I am no fan of Tesco and their ilk, but I wonder if those arguing against them opening a shop in our high street are poor ? One thing about Tesco is that they do offer some cheap prices, especially if you don't care about the quality. Might you be depriving a poor person of some choice? If there wer...

Re: Say No To T£sco
Marie/Mazzer said I'm gutted Tesco are opening here, particularly that they are going to be right next door to the brilliant PFC. It's going to be devastating for them. Count me in on any action necessary to campaign against this. I'm not sure you are right, Marie - the PFC in Penge is located oppos...
