Annie, it's closed on Sundays.

I too like that shot a lot. I tire of the others sometimes. But not of that one.

Re: End of Lawrie Park road closed

Mothers or fathers with kids. I used to live on Lawrie Park Road and am about to move back there. In the short time we were there before there were people killed including a young man on a scooter. And now there's that lovely smooth new surface which will attract more speed freaks. Time for some sle...

Really excited about seeing this tomorrow. Last year's play was entirely delightful and hugely inventive.

Good luck Jonathan and everyone concerned.

Well, the Olympics sort of are on our doorstep. Are not the Brazilians training in Crystal Palace Park, previously known as Sydenham Park at the National Sports Centre?

The Observer online had a feature yesterday on the upcoming show...

Re: Religious Rappers on the High Street

I'll have to be careful or I'll be up all night ranting. My wife, sons and I headed up to the top of CPP in hopes of some good kite flying and we had some soaring time but it was ruined by extremely load, obnoxious Jesus freakeriness in the form of some sort of concert within the park itself. It was...

Re: Le bonne shut without warning

My wife has made it a habit of fetching all sorts of yummy things from there on Saturday mornings but was closed last time and to our dismay, there was no sign. Hope all's well.

I was hoping also to pop into SugaHill yesterday but it too was closed with explanation.

Re: Tonight's trasmitter light show

Wasn't disappointed that the BBC didn't mention it, rather I was extremely annoyed. Would have made for spectacular visuals. Mind you, we might see a feature tonight. Fingers crossed. I expect it'll take some processing to ready such tricky footage. We had a reasonable view from outside our front do...
