Also, have a look at www.childcarelink.gov.uk, it lists all the Ofsted registered nannies, childminders etc in your area. I found a really lovely childminder in Lower Sydenham on here.

After reading all the positive comments on here, I rang to make an appointment, but their telephone manner leaves alot to be desired, a grumpy hello, I wasn't even sure I had the right number until I asked, when requested a appointment, I got a dour 'we're fully booked', offering no alternatives, hm...

A mum and baby group would be really welcomed, I have a 6 month old baby and have a few friends with young children who all moan on a regular basis that there are so few places in Sydenham to go with babies for a coffee, so this is a great idea, would love to come along if set up
