From what I understand, all the schools buildings programmes in Lewisham ARE going ahead. About half are complete and the rest are too far advanced in the planning to scrap.

As someone who works from home, I'd second that business supply / stationery shop.

I do most of my shopping in Sainsburys, but there are a few key items that I go to Waitrose for because the quality is better or I just can't get the item elsewhere. I tend to nip into the Waitrose in Beckenham when I'm driving past (which is several times a week) and I can't see that changing. Whet...

If you look on the ED forum, they are very unhappy with their new Co-operative, also formerly a Somerfield. Doesn't sound as if they liked it much when it was Somerfield, either, though.

Or if you have a point to make about the original post, make it and bring the thread back on topic. Threads meander, but they can always be pulled back to the topic if it is one people want to discuss.
