Re: Save Beer Rebellion - we need your help!

Thank you for clearing this up and best wishes for your new venture.
Will all parts of the venue, including toilets, be disabled friendly and will you have an ice machine (previously lacking)?

Re: The Alexandra is open - at last

Was at Alexandra for lunch yesterday. Excellent food, tapas style, big plates and small plates. Very reasonable prices; friendly, attentive and efficient service. Menu is on their Facebook page. Good selection of cocktails; reasonably priced house and other varieties of gin and wine, several types o...

Re: Can anyone recommend a good property surveyor?

I have used Christopher Martin of Michael Rogers, Sevenoaks, on several occasions, both for me personally as a buyer and in my capacity as then director of a self management company for lease extension valuations. His prices are competitive and he has extensive knowledge and experience of properties...

Re: Proposed new SE26.life forum

Rachel has posted that she will not be a party to anything that threatens the legacy of the STF and that it is for its members to decide on any proposal. Pauline has posted that she will stick by any decision made by members of the STF. In the light of this, some of the comments made to or regarding...

Re: The Future of the Sydenham Beer Rebellion

I hope those 60 or 70 people and others have voted for Beer Rebellion in the Time Out Love London awards. For those who haven't yet voted but would like to there are still a few days left.
Winning such an award can only contribute to Beer Rebellion''s cause.

Re: Proposed Constituency Boundaries

Some 10 years ago at least properties were more expensive in Peckham than in Sydenham, one reason being that Peckham is in Zone 2.
And Peckham has become trendy since then.

Re: 10 best places to eat and drink in Sydenham

Regrettably, unless they've reverted, On the Hoof no longer does Sunday roasts except on special occasions such as Mother''s day. The Dolphin''s food is terrible. Drinks grossly overpriced. Friends went to Golden Lion recently. Empty apart from them and they weren't terribly impressed. Main courses ...
