7 charity shops in Sydenham & only 3 in Foresthill as an avid record collector I've found some great stuff in Sydenham whereas I find a couple of the ones in FH a bit overpriced (on records that is). Chris

We have heard a rumour today regarding this unit.

The Penge Tourist Board are great. I don't think it would work here (there is a South Norwood Tourist Board too). There is lots of creative, exciting community based stuff going on in Penge. Why do you think it would not work here Lee? I think the PTB is great and very supportive of their local bus...

Tomorrow Sunday June 7th ''Our Sydenham fair at Sugahill returns for another Sunday of fresh wax, heavy tunes and strong coffee! Forget going out Saturday night when you can rave it up all day Sunday in SE26's funkiest cafe, with some of South London's finest DJs dropping tunes from behind the count...

At Sugahill cafe today 11.00am - 6.00pm, retro clothes,collectables,CD's & vinyl etc...pass through if you are out & about..thanks Yasemin & Chris

First ever Funk Committee night was in 1989 i still have the flyer.... concentrate on doing your own thing Pauine AKA Sugarmountain your comments are a bit silly.

Met up today with the promoter and discussed a Vinyl Stormwarning meets Funk Committee night, this could be a great event as part of the Arts Festival...will run it past Jonathan.

Sorry i should add we are friends with the owner we also popped in for çay & a chat..indeed lots of different influences on the menu good luck to the new business.
