New to Sydenham

My family and I are new to Sydenham. We moved here from Manhattan, NYC in August. Sure there are aspects of Sydenham that could really do with a polish but that's true of anywhere. We live just by Crystal Palace Park which is just brilliant. It's a real gem. Huge, mysterious and playful. The cafe in...

How generous

Very generous of you to let me use this short piece. IT sets a fast pace which is perfect. I may have to loop it a little to stretch it. Most such stop motion films average out at 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Fantastic. I have no idea how to make tracks like these though I would like to experiment. I have Ga...

I'm going to make a crazy, short, stop motion film while walking down one side and then back up the other side of the high street to try and capture some buzz from the place. To try and generate some energy. Any musicians here who might want to put together a 2or 3 minute high tempo soundtrack and w...

Fashion show in shop window during arts festival. That's a cool idea. Let's do some more brainstorming along these lines. I would love to do or be part of a group screening on the side of a building or something similar. I'll bounce the idea around. It would be worth speaking to Candessa about your ...

Was in Sugahill this afternoon with my son, Eoin age 6 and we had a most wonderful time. It was cozy. Chat was terrific and illuminating. And the music was classy. It played gently in the back round but was easily accessible if you needed it. The music in there is always excellent and never overwhel...

Flyer

I've just attached a flyer above for the blog.

All I'm hoping to do is bring a smile to some faces during these grim times. I'm beginning to love Sydenham and I want to make interesting pictures of the place for people to enjoy. Simple as that really.

I'm running out of time. 10pm today, January 15th is the deadline for voting this little film to TV. Know anyone that might like to see it? http://current.com/items/89645608/to_school/25.htm I'll prepare more hi-res photographs from Sydenham as a thank you. That's what I'll do. Many thanks. Broadcast opportunity for Sydenham short film

This is a LAST desperate appeal for votes to get a short 2 minute film on TV. I've slipped to number 2 and need to get back on top to get it broadcast. If you can help me out, or if you've voted already and think your friends and colleagues might like my crazy little film about Sydenham, please enco...
