Masts are a health hazard and I would not encourage them near to where I live.

Gold Lettering of Greyhound Pub
Has someone been stealing the gold lettering from the Greyhound pub? I noticed that a few had been put in the first floor window voids and there was a 'H' there but now it's disappeared.

Re: Unused Building - Dillwyn Close, SE26
What about this place located at 'The Haven' in Springfield Road in upper Sydenham? Lots of buildings. It's been empty for years. Who owns it? What is going to happen to it? What a waste. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.42238,-0.060059,3a,26.5y,260.14h,83.47t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sAbar6o_14mQN-oH7Rs...

Thanks for your response. Maybe I was a bit hasty with my criticism without seeing lower part of the mural.

Greyhound Mural
Will the contributors of photos for the greyhound mural have their names displayed on a plaque as was promised by the organisers?? I have to say that I'm not too impressed that so many of the the same images have been used repetitvely when there were so many different photos sent to the organisers w...

Birds and Animals in Dry/Hot Weather
Lots of birds die from dehydration due to lack of water during dry spells so please put water out for them if you can (and don't forget your cats/dogs).

Crystal Palace Park: How would you spend £2.4million?
Visiting the park yesterday I was given a leaflet about a survey Bromley council are carrying out relating to improvements to the park. If you would like to complete the survey you can find it here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/crystalpalaceimprovements or visit the Information Centre on: Wednesday...

Re: Going over old ground - The Hound that is Grey
Cllr Best and Cllr Smith should get their act together and arrange formal mediation between the parties to come to an agreement. This is ridiculous and has gone on long enough. Us residents are sick of the sight of this eyesore. I spoke to someone at Purelake this morning and was told that it is out...

Re: Going over old ground - The Hound that is Grey
Who is actually meant to be pushing this process along?? Is it someone at Lewisham council? Yes, there are several parties involved but there must be one person surely who should be project managing it. They should be contacted to pull their finger out of their a*** and chase the process along. We n...

The Greyhound Pub - Any Updates?
The structure is now looking quite dangerous and awful. It's shameful. Does anyone know if things are going to get moving with it or do we have to put up with this hideous monstrosity blighting Sydenham for the indefinite future? Councillor Best, do you have any updates?

Re: Burglary in Peak hill and surrounding Roads
My elderly neighbour was burgled recently. She lives on Westwood Hill and the blighters got in through her rear patio door by jimmying the door off its track! This happened at 2am. She was in bed and fortunately didn't awake. There were five lads involved - fortunately caught on another neighbour's ...
