NEWS UPDATE

After a meeting with @SouthernRailUK, I'm pleased that from December they plan to restore peak services 2x an hour from Penge West & Anerley and increase them to 4x an hour from Sydenham & Forest Hill.

Great that they have listened to my constituents & acted.

Every 15 minutes from around 0535 to 1020 and then around 1427 to 2057 on weekdays from June 3rd. Every 30 minutes otherwise.

Incidentally Ellie if re-elected will no longer be the MP for the Bromley parts of Sydenham, Penge or Anerley as they become part of the new Beckenham and Penge constituency after the General Election.

Sadly she is likely to remain the token MP for Sydenham. Due for another two years of maternity leave I expect!

No, but our current MP, Liam Conlon, appears to have done. FINALLY a quarter-hourly service on Saturdays again from this December.

Anyway, that wasn't why I was posting. In an attempt to get round the traffic chaos in the Cobbs Corner area today, I decided to get the train from Penge West to Forest Hill. I was surprised to see that there weren't any Southern trains scheduled for at least the next half hour, only Windrush ones. Have Anerley and Penge West lost their half-hourly Southern service again?

Is there an easy link/timetable for upcoming changes? Not heard about this but any increase in trains on weekend is
