Secret Opera and the Secret Orchestra present Handel's Messiah. A fantastic opportunity for the Sydenham community to get involved - come and join our core choir and sing with professional soloists and orchestra!
Secret Opera launches the Secret Orchestra with a special Community Scratch Choir performance of Handel's Messiah at St Bartholomew's Church, Sydenham.
The Secret Orchestra is the brainchild of young Entrepreneur and oboist Michael Sluman - working closely with Secret Opera and in consultation with Danny Longstaff at The Musicians' Union - the aim is to form an online directory 'The Concert Book' - a membership of freelance musicians all over the UK.
The Sydenham event is the first in the Secret Orchestra 'Concert Book' launch, and will feature Molly Cockburn as the Orchestra Leader, conducted by Alan Vincent.
