Burns Night at The Hill - Saturday 24th January

Post by michael »

The Forest Hill Society are joining with The Hill on Dartmouth Road* to bring you a traditional Burns Supper. This is an event popular with people from across Forest Hill and Sydenham, so I hope you don't mind me posting here.

Burns night will start at 7:30 for drinks and chats, bring old friends with you and make some more on the night.
Dinner will be served from 8:00... traditional Cock O'leekie soup, followed by Haggis with tatties and nips.
They'll also be a sharing cakes and sweets platter for dessert.

We have a real live Bagpipe player to pipe in the haggis, and there will be music and poetry to celebrate the works of Robert Burns. Feel free to bring along your favourite Burns poem to recite!

Tickets are on sale now for only £19.95
Booking in advanced only!! Book your table now to avoid any disappointment.
Call The Hill on 0208 699 5686 or email enquiries@thehillloungebar.com

* The Hill used to be The Question Bar or the Malt Shovel for those of you who have been around a while.
