JOHNS BARBERS RECOMMENDATION

After a few bad experiences with some barbers in and around Sydenham such as having my neck badly cut while the guy cutting my hair orally ignored me and spent most of his time talking to the guy in the other chair in another language, loud music, not great hair cuts, trimming half an eyebrow off… I've been hoping to find somewhere locally that was as good as the place I used to go to where I used to work near Marylebone.

And I have. It's Johns Barbers in Lower Sydenham near My Front Room. He's been there for over 40 years and now his son runs the shop. Great hair cut, quick, good value and nice people.

I can second that. I grew up having my hair cut at that shop and even after I moved out of the area in 2010 I still went back quite often to have my hair cut by John or Michael. Nice chaps.

I will third that. Michael has been cutting my hair for nearly 20 years now and I wouldnt go anywhere else.
