Christmas market starts with a range of hot food and craft stalls offering unique Christmas gifts and entertainment from Peter Caesar.

3pm
Tea Party at the Sydenham Centre starting with Red Hot and Blue with their blend of New Orleans Jazz and seasonal favourites, followed by an extra special Music Hall performance

5pm
Christmas carols outside for the lighting of the Christmas Tree!

Final preparations being made for our community day - Christmas tree arrived in Queensthorpe Square yesterday, launch of the indoor Christmas at Here for Good this evening and dogs getting ready for the best dressed competition at White's Pet Shop.

Local entertainers are rehearsing - Peter Ceasar will be performing on Venner Square starting at 11.15am, Red Hot and Blue upstairs at The Sydenham Centre at 3pm followed by Mr Tibbets Old Time Music Hall at 3.30pm. There will be tea and cake downstairs and plenty of friendly banter.

At 5pm we welcome Robin leading the carol singing with Santa and his reindeer lighting up the Christmas tree at 5.30pm.

All events are free - funding from the Sydenham Assembly and sponsored by Manns - so come and join the fun and frolics and support your high street.

Just dropped in to the pop up shop next to the health food shop on the high street, some very nice and unique presents especially the handmade soaps. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Go support.
