Good dentist

Hi all
New to this great neighbourhood and forum and founding it super helpful: already found a surgery, a garage and a carwash that were up to expectations!
I'm now after a good dentist who takes new patients - any suggestions? I've heard of one on Lawrie Park Rd?

I have been with the dentist in Lorry Park Rd for about 40 years.
Many changes of dentists in that time but always found them helpful.

As I said they do change often but I have never had one I had a problem with.

I should give it a try. The waiting room is a wonder , with beautiful ceiling and walls.

Too be honest as a new patient they would probably nominate a dentist for you.

Good luck with them, I'm afraid I haven't had very good experiences there and couldn't recommend, ( and I've had a lot of dental work over the years) I guess it's pot luck. I now go to Half Moon dentist in Herne Hill, 10 mins on train from Penge East.

I have always found Perryvale Dental Practice in Forrest Hill excellent. You can book your first visit on line see link below

It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Sydenham Road and the 75 bus stops right outside

Townley Road practice really good, 176 bus drops you outside, takes about 20 minutes on the bus

I agree that Townley Road is good. Six months ago they were only taking on private patients.

The practice at Kent House is good, too: a couple of minutes' walk from the station, and the 194 bus goes past the door.
