Cheese&Salami Saturday the 19th at BOB Wines

Post by Capo Caccia »

Hi All!
This Saturday 03/03/18
We are at BOB Wines from 10.30am to 6pm, with our range of Sardinian delicacies.
We'll be selling a selection of gluten free salami, like pancetta, fennel and spicy sausage; organic pecorino sheep's milk cheese, cow and goat's cheese, pane carasau & bottarga. Don’t miss out! :)

Damn. I’m away all day grrrrrr! Cheese and cured meat specialist is just what we need in Sydders. It would be wonderful to have a bar/cafe that served good wines and beers with cheese, meats, olives crusty artisan bread etc,

As a word of encouragement, several people on here have put a cheese & olives/pickles and cured meats & pies/saus rolls shop on their wish list several times before.

There aren't many types of shop that aren't already covered along Sydenham Road, but that is one which isn't... yet? :)

I can picture it now...nice piece of grey or black slate. Stilton, Stinking Bishop and a few others. Some lovely Spanish meats, Quince paste and some grapes or ripe figs. Forget the crackers and give me a bit of crusty artisan baguette with a large glass of Red.
I also like the idea of pairing cheese with beers - you could organise tastings where we would pay a set fee to sample and learn.
Now if you do that I’ll be there.
Oh and some nice armchairs and sofas so it’s not all tables and chairs.
That’s what we Need and at the top end of the street so we start to attract people with the Greyhound.
