Can I just add that Rachael Holme's biography is an excellent read. A bit long but an enlightening view of the best of the nineteenth century. You don't have to be a Marxist to be amazed by what she did for women, international relations and much more. There's a copy at Catford Library if you want to get up to speed before Jonathan's play. Well worth it.

We are booked to check he got it right. Pun intended!
