Latest update from Lewisham Council on the reinstatement of the pavement outside 278-280:

The highway inspector has just spoken to F M Conways supervisor. They don't have a definite date just yet but are hoping to do it either next weekend or the weekend after. He said he will give us a definitive date next week. It has to be done on a Sunday because of the traffic management required.

The contractor says [the reinstatement of the pavement is] scheduled for this Thursday but is weather dependent.

We are currently a day behind on schedule, the job outside 278 Kirkdale will now start on Friday and should be completed on Saturday.
