Regenerating pub names

Why is there a pub called "The Two Half's"
Firstly the plural of half is halves and secondly why the apostrophe?
I often drive through Sydenham and think that correcting this would be a good move to regenerate the town.

Are you suggesting that we're thick in Sydenham!? I agree with you that the "Two Half's" spelling is an embarrassment, although we'll need more than the changing of a spelling to regenerate Sydenham Road. Perhaps the signwriter ran a fruit and veg stall in a previous life.

Does anyone know who the owner is? Is it privately owned or is it part of a chain? If it's part of a chain, I'll volunteer to write to them.

to save you getting caught up in the traffic on the high street, due to the gas mains, why not try penge/crystal palace park road instead.
