Ken Lloyd Carpets

Very sorry to report that Ken Lloyd passed away on Thursday. He was 87 and is survived by his wife Mary.
Ken had been selling carpets and rugs from his shop on Sydenham Road for 44 years and was a lovely man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

I second that Simon. I didn't know Ken, although I often saw him as I passed his shop. I know people who spoke highly of him.

I'm so sorry to hear this, he was a great guy, friendly and helpful, only in there for a quote a few weeks ago.
My parents got carpets from him since he opened and I've done so myself for the last 30 years.
