Having just been looking at the Sydenham Assembly pages, it occurred to me that it might be nice to have some reporting back - just a picture or two, perhaps.
To show what I mean, here's the result of one of the most modest bits of funding the Assembly has been responsible for - £100 to buy a baby belling cooker now in use in the community room on the Hazel Grove estate
Thanks to this, which came from £2,000 for small grants championed by Sydenham Assembly co-ordinators' group member Christine Thompson, cookery classes run by fellow Sydenham Assembly co-ordinators' group member Jean Beckford on the Hazel Grove Estate can do some real cooking. Perhaps I should declare an interest here, since I benefited from this cooking at Jean's 'Big Lunch' last Sunday.
