No water - Mount Ash Road

Post by SydenhamStokie »

We have had no water since about 1 this afternoon (Wednesday). We left our number with Thames Water at about 2, but they haven't phoned back as they promised they would (within the hour, the automated message said).

We've just got back from watching, rather inappropriately, 'The Deep Blue Sea', and we are still dry.

Does anyone have any information on this? Does it extend beyond Mount Ash Road? We know a couple of neighbours are affected, so it's not just us.

Not sure if this is related, but around 1.30pm i was walking up Panmure Road and there were some Thames Water vans and a cascade of water flowing from the corner near the furthest end of the cul-de-sac.

Quite an impressive flow.

Hi, I saw a chappy from Thames Water last night and he said that the burst water main on Panmure Road should be ok by around 8pm. He said that the guys were working on it.

Pressure was back to normal by the time Spurs and Man U had received their respective spankings.
