Yes, but it is right next to the parish church of South Dulwich and is in SE21 so they do have a point. But after over a hundred years existence I think its a bit late now to change it.

Hmmm - I'd like to see Jo Brand manage that hill from the station !! LUMP! :twisted: :D

She would get up that hill faster than me to the bar at last orders if there was a rumbaba at the top, once saw her eat several on tv!

Which came into existence first? - which is the first one recorded anywhere?

Sydenham Hill or South Dulwich?

that should settle it - saying that South Dulwich makes it sound like a nice place thats flat and not at all hilly !!! (at least the station does what is says on the tin - unlike the last time I went to Carshalton Beeches with my bucket and spade - I was very disappointed at the lack of a seafront) :roll: :wink:
