Sydenham Doctors Surgery

Post by Falkor » 18 Nov 2006 19:51

Before the present building was built at the bottom of Wells Park Road in about the late 80s (or very early 90s), was the Doctors Surgery housed in a former building on the same site or did it directly replace the house shown in the middle of the photo below? I know in the early 80s, the Doctors Surgery used be at the bottom of Springfield Rise (first house opposite the Duke).

the surgery was at that site but it was in a sort of portacabin type building first from around 1986.

the new building was built in the early 90s.

i dont remember much of the buildings in your picture, but for a while before the surgery was moved there it was an empty plot.
