I got a bit excited and put the wrong date down, maybe if I’d waited a bit longer I’d have got it right. It is the Wednesday, but 31st not 29th! Sorry.

In for Wednesday 31st, 9pm kick off at Goals on Elmers End Road. (Oh how I have been waiting to write that).

I don’t think I’m going to be able to get a second pitch, which means it will be subs. Providing a lot of people don’t drop out to watch the England match I think we’ll have a cheap match.

Hey Everyone,

Slightly random one, but want to post this on here. I'm a casting director for TV commercials and am working on one for William Hill that shoots next month at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

We're looking for football fans and five-a-side players for it. Groups of people. There's a decent chunk of money there for anyone who features in it. I've tased the info below if anyone is interested in putting themselves forward for it. Hope you don't mind me putting it on it, just thought that some of you might fancy it.

William Hill Commercial | Casting Search | Football Fans!

We are looking for real groups of people, either families or friends who are FOOTBALL FANS, to appear in a William Hill commercial.

Everyone needs to be over 25 to be able to be considered.

If this sounds like you, please fill out this simple online form so we can consider you for the job;
https://form.platoforms.com/frvl674fkhv/

This is a paid opportunity and our chosen friends and family could earn up to £3,000 per person.

Filming will take place week commencing 12th April, and casting will be done via self-tapes on Zoom, something nice and easy and we will send you instructions of what and how to film!

To learn more about us at Hammond Cox Casting and the commercials we have cast please visit our website - http://hammondcoxcasting.com

Hi guys, just to let everyone that we've just moved out of the area. Gutted that I wasn't able to play one more time before we left. We've not gone too far though ("London on sea" ) so I'm sure I'll be back for the occasional game. It's been great playing with you all over the last 5ish years. All the best and have a great game on Wednesday. Fingers crossed that football is back for good!

Hey Lachie, just to wish you all the very best in your move down to the seaside. Thank you so much for doing all of my running on the pitch for the last few years. Look forward to seeing you again for the odd game in the future. Have a great spring and summer in the meantime. Cheers, JP

Lachie: sorry to see you leave but hopefully we will see you on our next weekend social. It has been great playing with you (or watching you pass by) and you will be missed. All the very best for you and the family, keep in touch.

Unfortunately there is definitely no other pitch so we are all on one. 11v12 is way too many, even if some of us haven’t moved from the sofa for four months. Subs it is and to make up for it, £5 each to play - if you are paying through the app make sure you change the default.
