Got your message about the social. I’ve basically been injured for the last three years with a slipped disc but I’ll probably be ready to play football later this year. I’m def up for the social though so count me in.

Errm, going to be busy, think we’ll do subs. At least the weather is nice for it. £8 each please.

18 months since I last played. I have a bagful of excuses including a global pandemic and a mystery belly ailment that eventually led to emergency surgery with all that Casualty-style crashing through doors on a trolley nonsense. I’m a metre of lower intestine lighter, though no quicker. Consultant hasn’t *specifically* said I can’t play football or have a curry so I’ll be down on 17th July. If recovery permits I’ll try to get down for a couple of warm-up games in advance. Looking forward to activating my groin strain again and getting one in fifty shots on target.

As there are so many, I will cancel tonight. I don’t feel great. Would have come if needed to make up numbers, but I’ll leave it for tonight.
