Big Fish Little Fish Family Rave - March 20th

Post by NatashaM »

Big Fish Little Fish on Jan 31st with DJ Tom Middleton has been sold out for a while now, so we thought we'd better add another date...

We will be holding a 'Flower Power' fancy dress themed rave at Zanzibar on Kirkdale on the afternoon of Sunday 20th March from 2 til 4.30pm. You can expect a big name DJ who we will announce nearer the time.

On the dancefloor: great dance music aimed at the grown-ups, spanning all genres from hip-hop to techno, proper disco to rave - tunes old and new but no current chart pop and no naff cheese. Glitter cannons, balloons, bubble machine, parachute dance and a free glowstick for every child.

In the Happy Monkey craft area - a well stocked craft table with the elements to make your own flower power accessory, giant colouring mural, free transfer tattoos and play doh table.

In the toddler play area - pop up tents and tunnels.

In the Baby chill out zone - soft mats, beanbags, picture books and a small soft-play ball pool.

Bar for the grown ups, plus home made cakes and savouries from the BakerChef stall.

We provide buggy parking (but space is limited so please fold your buggy and if you can come with a sling all the better (plus more fun to dance 'hands free') and baby change facilities.

Every child gets a free Happy Monkey Smoothie to take home.

BFLF is aimed at both adults and children (primarily those aged 0-8 but older siblings are welcome).

The venue owners are appealing the decision - this is a process that takes about 6 months, during which time Zanzibar is allowed to continue to operate. Luckily our parties won't be affected.
