I posted this in the other forum, so in case anyone hasn't seen it:

We saw this on Saturday (with a 6 year old) and really enjoyed it. You get a good view no matter where you sit. It's a really imaginative take on the storytelling of Hans Christian Anderson that had both adults and children laughing. It's not just about the Little Mermaid, it incorporates other stories by Hans Christian Anderson and has little to do with the Disney film. It's a clever play that has something for children of all ages, the songs are good too and there are some nice 'Easter Egg' style surprises.

You get to meet the actors afterwards. There were lots of kids queuing up to see them. On the subject of kids, it's family friendly but al the children were well behaved and at no point detracted from the play. In fact, their infectious laughter enhanced it.

It's our first trip to the Sydenham Centre theatre and it's a fantastic local resource. Long may it continue.

Thanks for the lovely review!

We're going to be very busy this weekend, so help us get our first sell out shows by booking now!

There are seats available for all performances at the moment, so don't delay!

And don't forget that there no shows over the Easter weekend as Sydenham Centre is closed. Instead, we have TWO extra show days on Tue 3 & Wed 4 April (shows at 2 & 4pm as usual)
