Junior cricket at SMCC

Post by SMCC Colts »

Hi there junior cricketers and parents,

Our 2108/19 indoor junior cricket courses are now open for booking. Details are here:

https://www.smccjuniors.co.uk/smcc-juniors

We’re running 10 week courses Oct-Dec 2018 and then again Jan-Mar 2019. Players booked into our indoor courses will, along with returners from last year, get early access to book a place for the outdoor summer season of 2019.

We’re particularly looking for girls in school years 4-7 as we are planning to run two girls’ teams in the summer of 2019 in those age-groups. We have over 20 girls already but will need a few more.

Hi folks,

Just to let you know that one of our Oct-Dec indoor junior cricket training courses is now full and some others are nearly full, so if you would like to book your kids in to learn and play cricket with us, please book sooner rather than later.

Regards,

Indoor cricket for boys and girls - a few places still available on Tuesdays starting Oct 9th:
2018-Winter-1 course: 5-6pm, school years 1-2
2018-Winter-2 course: 6-7pm, school years 3-5

See details here:
https://www.smccjuniors.co.uk/smcc-juniors

Kids attending indoor courses will get priority booking for outdoor cricket at the club next summer. We run league teams for school years 3 to 11 and in 2019 we'll be running dedicated girls' teams for years 3-5 and 6-7. From age 13, girls can also join one of our ladies' teams.

We're a non-profit community sports club, run by members and parents such as myself, located between East Dulwich and Forest Hill.

Please share. Thanks!

Hello again East Dulwich,

Some updates from Streatham & Marlborough Cricket Club (corner of Lordship Lane and the South Circular between East Dulwich and Forest Hill).

==============================

Junior cricket - book now to secure a place for your child this summer

We still have some spaces in our junior indoor cricket courses running Jan-March, and if you book into one of those courses now (before 31st Dec) you will get early access, along with returners from last summer, to secure a place for your child in the 2019 summer season.

Details of our indoor courses are here: https://www.smccjuniors.co.uk/201819-in ... ses-201819

Booking and payment is all online. You'll find details on the website.

=======================================

Girls' cricket teams this summer (2019)

I also want to highlight that we are running **2 LEAGUE TEAMS FOR GIRLS** this summer (2019). We already have just over half of the players we need for these two squads, but we're looking for a few more girls in school years 3-7 to join these squads.

=======================================

New adult players also welcome

Adult players are also welcome to join both our mens' and ladies' sections (see our main club website here: http://streathammarlboroughcc.co.uk/)

If you have any questions, we have a very comprehensive and up to date website that will answer most of your questions, but if you can't find what you need there, please feel free to contact us. You'll find contact details on the websites.

=======================================

Looking to hire a pitch or large function room and large outdoor grassy space?

Every year, we are hired for private cricket matches, children's parties, adult birthday parties, wedding receptions, funeral wakes and many other social occasions. Our pricing is very competitive. See more on our website: http://streathammarlboroughcc.co.uk/index.php/events/

=======================================

Please note that we are not a for-profit business. We are a non-profit club run by volunteers for the love of the game, and for the love of keeping people physically and socially active.
