They used to sell bootleg copies of albums and concert recordings down Camden Market. These would always include cover art that was basically photographs cut and pasted, often from magazines, which were then photocopied, and sometimes the track listing would be written in black marker pen.There were often spelling mistakes.
I remember sifting through them, the smell of incense suffusing the market, damp warehouses and piles of retro second hand clothes, fly posters, fried onion etc
Perhaps this is an Alanis Morissette bootleg. Jagged Little Pill was an excellent album - You Oughta Know
has a great kick. But then she got silly and winsome - albums about travelling in India etc.
