Organic butcher

Post by Big Ben »

Just discovered a butcher who sells organic chicken, beef and lamb - at 341 Sydenham Road (diagonally opposite the library, between Champion Road and Kirtley Road). They are called Home Park Butchers and one of them is Hugh Boston who was one of the partners in Bostons on Perry Hill (now closed). They have lovely sausages, bacon, calves liver etc; they also do farmer's markets - for instance the one at Dulwich College. They are closed on Sunday & Monday, but open other days 8 til 5, and on Weds 8 til 1.

Admin, can you please remove this post before it is spells the end of Sydenham as we know it?

First the Dolphin goes all bourgeois on us, then we hear that we are going to get cappuccinoed up when this new caff, sorry cafe arrives.

But now we are getting an organic butchers.

That's just going too far.

We're going to be overrun with hordes of yuppies or whatever they are called now that we are no longer in the 80s.

It'll be impossible to get some proper Morley's Fried Chicken.

Real fizzy lager in our proper boozers will be replaced by some dank pond water bottled by belgian monks.

The pound shops will be replaced by guinea shops.

Please Admin, act now before its too late.

Anyone remember the butcher that used to be at the top of Kirkdale? They were good. Will go and check this place out. Has it been there a long time?
