Double-fronted shop??

Post by jackieboo »

Hello again,

Does anyone remember a double fronted women's clothes shop almost opposite Newlands Pk in the 70's? On the same side as the jeweller's where the clock hangs(hung?). ahhhhhhhh had my ears pierced in that jeweller's - had to wait until I was 16 in 1974.

On the corner of Newlands Park there used to be a record shop, and I paid £5.00 for a ticket to see the Beatles in 1961 at Lewisham Gaumont.£5.00 then was over a weeks wages
