Suggestions on quiet, tree lined roads in Upper Sydenham

Post by Greg Whitehead »

All,

My partner and I currently live on a very quiet Victorian road in Sydenham. When bought it was falling down but over the past 3 years (and a new roof/electrics/CH/windows/carpet/kitchen/bathroom/plaster/fireplaces - you get the picture) we will have made enough ££ to invest in a place higher up the hill and very much like the look of Jews Walk, Charleville Circus or Lawrie Park Avenue.

We moved to Sydenham quite by chance having rented by the park in Greenwich and we love the green spaces, Victorian architecture and most importantly the amazing views (were else aside from Hampstead do you get those views in London?) that you seem to get in Upper Sydenham/Sydenham Hill.

So, my question is should we broaden our search? Any suggestions on alternate roads in Upper Sydenham welcome - we generally only get as far as playing Tennis at the LTA club.
