Photographers: Deeper by Dawn?

Post by admin »

Image
Hey folks - outside is look really beautiful already. Its a tradition here to do a spread on the main website of our (usually only) snowfall of the winter. I've put a holder on the frontpage. Dunno whether you will all be too busy trying to get to work in the morning but if you want to take photos here do you mind if I use them? You can also email them to admin (at) bizz.co.uk

Thanks - and good shooting!

Admin

PS Can you keep pix down to a max of 550 pixels wide so as not to break the STF template.

beautiful!!

First time in Sydenham with snow so I'm not sure what it will be like in the morning. Delays on the train? Shall I chance it or work from home do you think?

Sydenham Road from a webcam just east of Ladbrokes 07:45. Uncharacteristically peaceful.

I have opened public access to this webcam for the moment, but it is only on an ADSL line so performance may sag if it is heavily used.

Victoria mainline is closed so Penge East looks like no option. SouthEastern appear to share the same failed website as Southern. No excuses on this Barty. Both had notice to have people in command & control. TfL can do it, the BBC can keep the info coming, Why can't the rail operators?

Hey great photos guys! I'm very jealous.. The downside of working from home is that I can't not get to work dammit! So I've only managed to get a few . I'd love to be out there! Ronski I LOVE the car pic! Hilarious. And the snowman and the ice-age dinosaurs! Excellent. Was the lake frozen over? Doesn't look like it. And Tim, I really like the ironic station sign with the totally unhelpful information and its icicles. This is a great thread. Thanks 'admin'! I'm going to try and get at least one reasonable photo to add. Watch this space. All the best, all.. D

I get a little freaked out when the buses lean over like this. A real white knuckle ride up top.

ANOTHER DEAD FOX

Post by paultreacy »

Poor creature. I was devastated when I came across this scene. I've seen a lot of dreadful things in my career but a dead fox really gets me down.
