Hotels/guest houses/B and Bs SE26 and beyond

Post by SydenhamStokie »

We have a number of members of our family descending upon us in January, and not enough beds for them all. Can any forumites recommend hotels, guest houses and/or bed and breakfast places in the local (Sydenham, Forest Hill, Dulwich and maybe even further beyond) area?

Thanks.

The Eden Park Hotel has been praised by people we know. Also suggest you try Beckenham , I believe two or three decent hotels.

When I had about 25 jocks descend on us for my wedding, they all stayed in Rodway Guest House, Rodway Road, Bromley. It was clean and reasonably priced.

Not actually sure if it's still a B&B :? - worth a look?

My partner's parents recently stayed at the Goodwood Hotel in Beckenham and said they'd really recommend it.

They've also stayed at the Premier Inn in Croydon, which is okay apparently.

My Grandmother and aunt stayed at the Astra Palace hotel a couple of years ago and said that it was very basic, but clean and very good value for money.
