Moving to Sydenham - Furniture?

Post by PDragon »

Hey All,
I'm moving to Sydenham this weekend, any recommendations on second hand or antique furniture close to the area?

Very excited to live in such a lovely area!

Yes, there is an absolutely fantastic place in Crystal Palace - we got some stunning pieces from them, some at very reasonable prices. Check http://crystalpalaceantiques.com/

Good luck and welcome

My wife and I have bought a lot of furniture from Bishops on Sydenham Road (same block as Lidl). We have found their prices to be good and they are very efficient about delivery. Unfortunately we no longer have space for some of the attractive items we see there periodically :(

A little further afield there are monthly auctions at Rosebery's in West Norwood. You can view at the weekend/early week before the auctions, then place a remote bid if you want to.
