The Bridge Leisure centre

Post by I hammer »

Can anyone tell me if the Bridge Leisure Centre is any good?

i.e. Value for Money versus Crystal Palace sports centre gym?
Does it get crowded in the evenings (when i would attend)?
Is there plenty of parking?
Is the equipment in the gym modern?
Do you have to wait long to use anything?
Is it clean?

I'm only interested in comments regarding the gym.

Many thanks.

Hi
It cost £36.40 per month by direct debit, which includes The Gym, swimmimg ,sauna, squash courts and all fitness classes ....no joining fee ,no cancellation fee.You can cancel with 30 days notice, otherwise the gym alone costs £4.10 before 5pm on weekdays and £5.25 after 5 and weekends.
Generally its not too crowded in the evenings so no long waits for equipment, its kept clean ,the apparatus is all about 10 years old in good working order.
There is ample parking spaces in the free carpark.
Membership also includes other sites such as wavelengths at Deptford Bridge,Ladywell Leisure centre,Ladywell arena,Forest Hill school centre and Forest Hill swimming baths which is re opening next week. Hope this is helpful, definatley think its worth a try.
