Anonymox & other Proxy/Masking Services

Post by admin »

If you use these extensions to your browsers to hide your details you may find you will no longer be able to access STF.

This is because the Chinese, Indonesian and other groups of organised spammers are switching to use these services to hide their origins. Hence the IPs used are being progressively blocked as they are detected. You may find you have suddenly been 'banned' by association.

What to do? Don't Panic! Most of these services/browser extensions have a facility to add domain names to bypass the proxy. Putting in sydenham.org.uk should do the trick. Or you can simply disable the extension while you visit us.

This does allow me to get more sleep and you less opportunities to purchase food preparation areas for a song. So it's all good, isn't it?
