RIP somerandombloke

Post by admin »

I am sorry to have to tell you that last Wednesday evening SRB had a heart attack. He was rushed into hospital where he had another heart attack two hours later. He didn’t survive that one.

SRB had a short but strong presence here. Whether you were with him or against him - I hope you will, like me, shed a tear and think of his family. I can tell you this because he had a zip-file of all his access data saved and he asked his sister to use it give us this message just before he died. She did.

A man prepared. And I hope his postings here will mean some of his ideas and thoughts will live on.

Thanks for that, admin. Very sad indeed as I know he was really getting his act together: working, giving up smoking, losing weight. Such a very great shame. I'll raise a glass.

I can hardly believe I'm reading this sad news. I also offer my sincere condolences to somerandombloke's family and friends.

somerandombloke's vibrant views, very often with a touch of humour, often enlivened the forum and kept us on our toes with food for thought. I'll miss his contributions and will also raise a glass to him.

His presence will be missed by me. I felt his post provided down to earth balance. I too wish I'd met him for a pint. Condolences to his, and those whose lives he touched.
