Taylors Lane

Post by multisync »

Does anyone have old photos of Taylors Lane. When I was at school had a friend lived in this road it was an unmade up road and went all the way through to Westwood Hill. A real lane then !!!!
Any pics. "Falkor"

I'm sure that some pics were posted, maybe a couple (or so) years back somewhere in here, although you would need to trawl through to find them. I remember Taylors Lane, mainly from the 60's. I quess you would remember Scrobie's, the shop opposite the Well's park entrance, down Taylors Lane & on the corner of the road that lead back into Coombe Road:

The end opposite wells park road lead up into Longton Grove and was much narrower, as you rightly say a proper lane.
I hads some School pals back then who lived in Taylors Lane (near the old church hall). Good luck with finding those pics, If I come across any I'll post them..
