Road renovation Highclere street

Hi all,

A lot of streets tarmacs have been done up in the past year in lower Sydenham but Highclere street seems to still be waiting for a facelift.

Does anybody know when it will be our lovely street's turn? The houses look lovely but the road really lets it down.

depends on a lot of factors - probably best to email highways@lewisham.gov.uk and ask them.

it's not a through route is it?

probably wears out slower than other more trafficed roads.

Lewisham Highways should have a 5 year planned maintenance for CW and FW resurfacing, it'll either be on that or not.
