Beware 3-way traffic signals at Penge W j/w Crystal Palace R
Local residents need to be aware of 3-way traffic signals at LP Road junction/w CP Pk Road/Thicket Road today - not sure for how long or for what reason. Major back ups leading to similar at Westwood Hill today

Oh, how I wish I'd seen this last week! I got on the 176 in Penge, and it took 20 minutes or more to get to Sydenham, admittedly in the middle of the evening rush hour. I was supposed to be going all the way up to Tottenham Court Road, but ended up having to get off at Waterloo Bridge and power walk all the way through Covent Garden to make it in time.
Has it cleared now? It was horrendous: all the traffic coming down Crystal Palace Park Road not leaving spaces for traffic to get in and out of Lawrie Park Road, because every time they did the cars were flooding out of LP Road and blocking them. I think a more sophisticated set of lights allowing traffic out of LP Rd at specific times was needed.
Has it cleared now?
