Can anyone recommend a good carpet cleaning company?

Post by Savvy »

Hi, we need our stair carpet cleaning, it needs a good thorough going over - to be blunt, its got two child sick stains. We were dissapointed before when we picked someone at random from the phone book (and that was just a sofa clean, no biological stains in sight). I don't mind paying for good service. Its gotta be cheaper than replacing the whole lot.
Thanks.

I'm sure you can actually hire the machine to do this yourself. That's the only way to be sure of a thorough job!

Hi savvy,

I agree that you can hire a machine for a couple of days and they are really good. I think they are called the RUG DOCTOR, I could be wrong here, but I think Hombase may hire them, or if not have info as to where to get them.

I friend of mine last year hired one and carpets looked like new, very easy to use.....

Not yet, there's a lot of decorating, plumbing and wiring to do first, we're leaving the carpet till last but I will let you know.
