Save the BBC Radio 4 Theme Tune

Except without that brilliant and uplifting theme each morning your site would be administered even more grumpily. Did you hear that R4 controller excusing his decision on the Today programme? Pooh - he removes a quality bit of much loved music never heard elswhere, replaces it with yet another unneeded news bulletin/briefing (BBC is broadcasting at least three others at the same time) and refuses to listen to his audiences desire to cut out the inane trailers that constantly interrupt what we want to listen to...

The difference being that repititious rubbish aggravates. The R4 Theme no matter how many times you hear it - sounds fresh and interesting each morning.

Utterly outrageous. I'm signing that petition right now.

I only got up early enough to hear the R4 theme quite recently, but it is brilliant mad Britishness and I love it!

It is utter madness. Why change something for the sake of it?

I've only heard it a few times, but it does give you an uplifting start to the day when you do hear it. Why do people want to make the world a dull place?
