But it's a Morrisons Daily - I thought they were closing most of those because they were unprofitable, or something?

Some of the Lewisham staff are moving across to Bell Green once the Lewisham store closes.

We had a Morrisons in Sydenham. It lost money. Now it is Lidl.

Now updated... opens 8am Wednesday.
8am til 9pm every day except Sunday, which is 10.30 to 4.30.

What, hasn't anyone visited it yet?

Visited on opening day - all round enjoyable experience.

Place is a little larger and roomier than the equivalent in Beckenham with plenty of space in the aisles and on the first day plentiful staff were busy looking after customers and re-stocking shelves. Range of stock was very wide with what I was sure were some new lines.

Cheese and bread selections were outstanding.

I'm sure others will comment on what new custom will travel to the new store but my other half really welcomes the new M&S.

Update.

Better half received an email this morning advising that Christmas Orders can be placed online for collection from the new store.

No time wasted there.
