Mayow Park photo

Post by Tim Lund »

Mayow Park was looking nice this morning, in a Novemberish way. This doesn't quite capture it ...

Savvy:

There are lots of ways to post pictures, and lots of people could probably tell you. Probably the easiest way for most people is via Facebook - here's a rather random picture I uploaded to my Facebook from my mobile ...

All you have to do is right click on the image in Facebook and select 'copy image url'. And a 'well done' to anyone who can say what these are - MummyCat is disqualified, 'coz she's already got it right on my Facebook.

Medlars! There are quite a few wild trees and some in an orchard in High Elms Country Park (not far away in Farnborough). We always collect them each year :)

Medlars indeed, traded for some jalapenos.

So what do you do with them, jackieboo? We made them into a cake / pudding which was nice, but tasted mainly of the allspice in it.
