Where's our salt?

Post by Rachael »

Driving through Beckenham this morning, I see that all the pavements have been thoroughly salted in anticipation of this weekend's snow. As soon as I crossed into the Lewisham controlled streets - nothing. It was the same last year - Bromley and Southwark salted the pavements, but Lewisham didn't.

Can we expect ink rinks on our pavements again like last year? Really? *sigh*

Damn! Thought this was a thread bemoaning the lack of lovely salt added to restaurant and ready meals these days :(

I'll happily open the thread up to all sodium-chloride related gripes.

Same thought crossed my mind - I was salivating at the thought of digging out stats on increased coronary and stroke risk :D

Quite useful when one feels the need to indulge in a doodle on the pavement though.
