Sydenham Arts Festival Summer Season 2010 has just come to and end after an exciting and varied programme of events provided something for everyone throughout the community over the past three months, from the thoroughly enjoyable Alice in Wonderland tea party on 6 June - our opening event and a sell out, to yesterday's last event - Blitz - a well attended and brilliantly performed tribute to Londoners who lived through the Blitz, 70 years ago.

Thank you to all who took part as performers, artists and audience who have attended and supported the Festival, this year. The good news is that Sydenham Arts Festival 2011 is already being planned and will take place between 1 - 17 July next year. Please do get in touch if you want to be involved in any way.

And please, Admin, can we have one more week as a pinned thread? Thank you

So there was an open meeting last night about the 2011 SAF.

I'm sure someone will start a Sydenham Arts Festival 2011 thread at some point in the future, but for now, I'd like to make it known that the festival organising committee are looking for volunteers - specifically in certain areas including (but not limited to) Marketing, Technicians(PA/Lighting), Box office clerks, and volunteer coordinator.

If you feel qualified in one of the above areas, or you are just interested in the arts, and have free time over the summer, and would like to volunteer your services, please do go to the Sydenham Arts Festival webpage, see what happened this year, and use the contact us page to express an interest.

Thanks all.
