Lee, shame you came too late to sample Sydenhams pie and mash shop. Was on the parade on the corner of Kent House Road and Sydenham Road. Closed about 10 years ago if I remember.
Funnily enough my parents next door neighbours in Devon used to run a shop on that corner. They mentioned all sorts of shops and how they used to go to the cinema, how nice the high street used to be etc. I will see if they have any photo's. So if you knew a barrie and jeannie...
