Estate agents

Post by Jane73 »

Has anyone advice on good estate agents in Forest Hill/Sydenham?

I'm looking to sell my flat soon & would welcome all thoughts & recommendations.

Can anyone help?

My general opinion of estate agents is unprintable. Credit where it's due though, George Proctor & Partners were nothing less than totally professional when I bought my place.

Property World have a good reputation locally - they are totally committed to the area and get a mention in the recent Time Out article. They claim to be the area's 'independent agent' and have a special offer on at the moment for sellers - go to http://www.propertyworlduk.net/main.htm

Found Proctors at the end of Silverdale/High Street good. Some estate agents can be a bit, 'know wot I mean 'guv' but they seemed quite relaxed and un-pushy.

We used Procters and they were very good.

Some of the others were, as SydenhamBoy said, pretty wide-boy and did not fill me with confidence.

Thanks everyone, I tried Proctors and they do seem good. They're also offered me a very good rate!
