Sorry no one has responded to your post, SydenhamBorn, but this is the info put out by the Sydenham Society:

Come and join in the fun on Tuesday 31 October when a spooktacular event takes place in Sydenham high street. The annual Halloween fest starts at 4pm with a parade of ghouls and ghosts collecting trick or treats from Sydenham traders.
At 5pm the costumes will be judged upstairs in The Sydenham Centre with prizes awarded for the best under 7s, over 7s and best home made.
We need more volunteers to help in the high street with trail maps and to shepherd our two stilt-walking zombies with the children – please get in touch if you can help!

Hope it's not too late for you and your children
